On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, Vroom Funderingstechnieken was present at the Techniekdag at Crescendo in Hoorn from 10:00 to 19:00.
Through a designated route, visitors passed by all stands of participating companies. Outside, various machines were set up for visitors to admire up close. This allowed students to better orient themselves towards potential further education and/or career choices. The participating companies introduced schools and students to the specific activities and opportunities in our sector during the Techniekdag. With the slogan “See and do,” the present companies aim to excite visitors about a future in technology.
To encourage schools to attend this event, buses were arranged by Techniek Pact to enable students to come to Hoorn. Naturally, this day is also intended for adults seeking employment, those interested in the participating companies and anyone with a broad interest in technology. The Techniekdag received significant attention through various social media channels and digital billboards around Hoorn.
The companies, the Techniekpact West Friesland, WSP and UWV joined forces to further promote this special day, resulting in a successful event.
