De Dwingel: new residential area with care facilities

For the new-build project De Dwingel, Vroom is delivering a carefully coordinated foundation solution. Thanks to a stable working platform, specialist piling works and integrated collaboration within the Vroom group, an efficient and reliable foundation base is achieved.

The realisation of De Dwingel in De Goorn required a specialist and precisely coordinated foundation approach. Due to the weak subsoil, piling from the existing ground level was not possible, necessitating the installation of a granular fill layer first. This provides a stable and safe working platform from which the piles could be installed in a controlled manner and with high precision.

Vroom Funderingstechnieken carried out the complete piling works and ensured optimal coordination between engineering, execution and equipment. At the same time, subsidiary Beton- en Vlechtbedrijf Hadek realised the entire in-situ cast concrete foundation, including reinforcement and concrete works. The presence of a split-level foundation imposed high demands on dimensional accuracy, phasing and collaboration during execution.

Henselmans Bouw & Ontwikkeling is responsible as the main contractor for the realisation of the entire construction project. As both the piling works and the foundation works are fully executed within the Vroom group, Henselmans benefits from one clear, efficient and technically integrated total package. The close collaboration between Vroom, Hadek and Henselmans ensures short communication lines and smooth progress on site. This project demonstrates how specialist foundation engineering, concrete expertise and practical execution come together in one integrated and high-quality solution.

From HOED to childcare and from apartments to ground-based homes

A varied residential programme is being developed here, comprising a total of 40 homes, including apartments, social housing units and ground-based dwellings. The plan includes a multifunctional complex in which the ground floor accommodates the HOED (general practitioners under one roof), a pharmacy and a childcare centre. Above these facilities, 28 apartments will be realised, including 18 owner-occupied apartments and 10 social rental apartments for the Municipal Housing Company. In addition, 12 ground-based homes will be added, creating a complete and diverse housing offer within this new neighbourhood.
