These dwellings, for first-time buyers, are based on the Timpaan ‘Smartwoning’ concept. The idea behind the Smartwoning is to make high-quality accommodation both possible, and available to all.
Back-to-back housing
The back-to-back configuration of the dwellings makes the most efficient use of the available footprint. The 'smart’ dwellings are six metres wide and have two storeys. On the ground floor there is a room for building services, toilet and living room and open kitchen. On the upper level, in addition to space for the washing machine and dryer, there is a bathroom and a large bedroom. The façade is largely glass, which gives a great view from both storeys. The 'smart’ dwellings have floor space of around 68 m2.
