Maassluis is going to be expanding significantly in the area behind the gigantic site of machinery manufacturer Lely. The idea is that hundreds of dwellings will be built over the next few years in that area. We will be breaking the ice, so to speak, with 18 dwellings for Dura Vermeer.

Another nice total package for Vroom: in addition to the dimensioning, we will have the task of driving the long concrete piles, of up to 26m, into the ground. Once the piles are in place, we will be installing pre-cast foundation beams and foundation walls. The contractor is then going to build pre-cast ‘shells’ on them. By building the entire construction from pre-cast elements, we can achieve a high level of quality and, at the same time, construction time will be reduced significantly.

Split-level

The dwellings will be characterised by having a split-level design. This means that the dwelling is on two floors. Facing the public highway, the dwelling will be at road level, while to the rear it will be elevated, overhanging the water.
