As of 10 September 2026, Beton- en Vlechtbedrijf Hadek B.V. (“Hadek”), part of the Vroom Group, has acquired Bekkers Beton- & Timmerwerkzaamheden B.V. (“Bekkers”). With this strategic step, Hadek expands its services and further strengthens its position as a partner for both concrete construction and reinforcement steel.
Hadek has a strong position in the supply and installation of reinforcement steel. Through the acquisition of Bekkers, concrete construction services are now added to its portfolio. This means that clients can now turn to a single organization for both reinforcement and the execution of concrete structures. As of 10 September 2026, Hadek will continue under the name Hadek Concrete Construction and Reinforcement Steel.
For clients, this means:
- a single point of contact for concrete construction and reinforcement steel;
- better coordination between preparation, reinforcement, concrete construction, and execution;
- greater execution capacity and flexibility within projects;
- the trusted quality, commitment, and short communication lines of the Vroom Group.
Existing contacts, agreements, and ongoing projects will continue seamlessly and with due care. At the same time, Vroom Group clients will benefit from a broader range of services, with a single point of contact for both concrete construction and reinforcement steel.
