Contract Manager Sales

As a Contract Manager Sales within the foundation/construction sector, you are responsible for managing and coordinating all contractual aspects of projects, with a focus on sales contracts. You work closely with various stakeholders inside and outside the organization to ensure contracts are correctly drafted, negotiated, and executed. The aim is to ensure balanced contract formation with acceptable risks and promote constructive and long-term collaboration between all parties involved.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage sales contracts: negotiate, draft, and manage sales contracts for projects, including interpreting contractual terms and advising internal teams on contractual obligations.
  • Risk management: identify, evaluate, and manage contractual risks associated with sales contracts and implement measures to minimize risks and prevent legal disputes.
  • Insurance matters: manage insurance policies in conjunction with covering contracts.
  • Contractual compliance: ensure compliance with contractual obligations by both the organization and the customer and initiate appropriate actions in case of breach of contract or disputes.
  • Relationship management: maintain good relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders and act as the primary contact for contractual matters.
  • Legal advice: serve as an internal legal advisor for the project team, assessing and resolving legal issues related to sales contracts, disputes, and other legal matters.
  • Improvements and optimizations: identify opportunities for process improvements, optimizations related to contract management, and implement best practices within the organization.
  • Reporting: prepare reports and analyses on contractual performance, risks, and compliance and provide periodic updates to the management team.

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, business administration, construction management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a contract manager, preferably within the construction sector.
  • Deep knowledge of contract law and experience in negotiating and drafting sales contracts.
  • Knowledge in the field of insurance matters.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Team player with a proactive and results-oriented attitude.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations within the construction sector is a plus.
