As a Contract Manager within Vroom Funderingstechnieken, you are responsible for managing and coordinating the contractual aspects and risks within our organisation.
Your responsibilities
- Negotiation and contract formation: you draft contracts, review incoming contracts and, where necessary, negotiate terms and conditions with our clients.
- Advisory role: you translate contractual agreements into clear explanations for your technical colleagues. You are able to convey what has been agreed and what this means for execution.
- Risk management: you identify contractual risks both prior to and during our projects. In addition, you act as the point of contact for the insurance portfolio.
- Contract compliance: together with the project teams, you ensure compliance with contractual obligations by both our organisation and our clients.
- Relationship management: maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders. You also manage and update long-term (framework) agreements with our partners.
- Coordination and advice: in the event of damages or disputes on our projects, colleagues know where to find you. You provide initial advice and, if necessary, coordinate further handling with external advisers.
- Reporting: you report to the management, both on request and proactively, on contractual matters and risks.

- Indicative salary €4,000 – €7,000 (full-time, 40 hours), depending on knowledge and experience.

Who are you?
- You have a higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working, preferably supplemented with a qualification in civil engineering, law, business administration, construction management or a related field.
- You have demonstrable experience as a contract or risk manager, preferably within the construction sector.
- You are meticulous in writing and documentation. You write clearly and practically, and provide concise advice.
- You have basic knowledge of contract law or experience in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements.
- You are professional and possess strong communication and negotiation skills.
- An affinity with insurance matters is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations within the construction sector is regarded as a valuable asset.
