For this project, Vroom Foundation Technology has mounted the foundation piles, the prefab foundation beams and the shed floors for semi-detached homes and town houses.
In collaboration with T&G Bouwcombinatie consisting of Tervoort Egmond and Van der Gragt, we have applied the piles and the foundation beams within a short period of time.
Lego brick foundation
We make the foundation out of prefab foundation elements. The elements match each other perfectly and are being placed like Lego bricks on top of each other on the construction site. These elements are being poured in the factory causing them to be very dimensionally stable as they are made out of high-quality concrete. The production of the elements has already been done as on the construction site, the foundation piles are being applied. An advantage is that right after the piling activities, the foundation beams are being mounted so that time won’t be lost. In practice, there is a maximum period of a week in between completing the piling activities and placing the foundation. The average speed is 30 homes per day.
The new construction site
De Draai is situated on the east side of Heerhugowaard. The new construction site borders the Krusemanlaan on the north side, the Oostdijk with the Ringvaart on the east side, a part of the Jan Glijnisweg, Beukenlaan on the south side and a part of the (partly completed) Oosttangent on the west side.
