Application
- Used in commercial projects where vibration-free and/or low-noise work is required.
- Can be equipped with long reinforcement bars before concreting, ensuring guaranteed coverage after pile manufacturing.
- Can be employed in retaining walls with a large retaining height.
- Partially limit ground relaxation. Due to the large core diameter, there can be less ground relaxation compared to concrete screw piles. Less soil may also emerge. However, this should not be considered in structural calculations.
Features
- Rapid delivery times possible.
- Adjustments to pile specifications slightly possible up to the start of the work.
- The piles can be loaded both in compression and tension.
- Piles can be directly finished to height under certain conditions.
- The pile system is non-displacing.
- Tubular screw piles can be reinforced over their entire length with a cage.
- The pile system is known and accepted by the Building and Housing Supervision Service, structural engineers, and within building standards.
- Installed vibration-free and with minimal noise.
This less ground-displacing foundation technique is applied in residential and utility construction where specific ground conditions exist. Tubular screw piles are produced up to approximately 35 meters in length, and specific requests are accommodated.
Quality Control
Vroom Funderingstechnieken manufactures tubular screw piles according to their own execution procedure established as part of internal quality monitoring and national standards.
The manufactured tubular screw piles can optionally be acoustically tested and then evaluated by an independent advisory bureau.
Through our own quality control, we can respond adequately to doubts about pile quality or to client specifications regarding execution. Concrete for tubular screw piles is sourced from certified concrete plants.
