Precast loading docks

Building with prefab loading docks benefits the efficiency, the construction speed, and the constant quality of the end product. The prefab loading docks are designed, produced, and assembled by Vroom with a KOMO-KIWA product certificate. The prefab elements ensure a short execution time on the construction site. The elements are not of a fixed size; they are produced to the requested dimensions.

Application Areas

  • Utility Construction (Structures)

Advantages

Less deployment of production staff on the construction site is required; two people and a mobile crane with an operator are sufficient for the execution. The quality of the end result in prefab concrete work is constant.

Vroom offers a complete foundation package that usually stops at the top of the ground floor. The prefab loading docks are often combined with prefab foundation beams, dimensioning, and the assembly of the ground floors, including the pouring. If necessary, a combination is made with cast-in-place concrete.

Assembly

During the preparation, the foundation piles are made exactly to the right height, and a dowel is drilled in the pile head that fits into the prefab loading dock. The prefab loading docks are assembled with a telescopic crane or mobile crawler crane, depending on the element weights and the distance at which they must be placed. In the final assembly, all elements are finely adjusted, after which they are fixed to the dowel.
